RESOURCING MINORITY-LED RIGHTS-BASED WORK Articulating your vision and understanding how to fund and resource your work November 2024 to June 2025

For the past year, NYCI and The Rowan Trust have been working on a collaborative granting scheme. After the 1 year review it has been decided to run a series of workshops and masterclasses to support potential beneficiaries to resource and fund their work with young people. This will happen through a mix of three in-person sessions, prerecorded “info vignettes”, and online optional meetings held over 8 months from October 2024 to June 2025.

Transforming Hate in Youth Work Settings

This training focuses on tackling hateful speech or behaviours in real and lasting ways. We come from the premise that hate and discrimination will not be changed by taking a punitive approach. The training gives tools to the youth worker to build their self-awareness, learn the principles of compassionate communication and adopt a needs-based approach to bring about lasting change.
