A National Mapping of Youth Arts Provision
in Youth Work Settings
This project aims to identify, map, and celebrate youth arts provision in youth work settings across Ireland.
Dynamic, creative and meaningful art-based work is happening with young people in communities all over Ireland and we want to document that practice. We invite to you be part of this mapping activity and to contribute to creating an online exhibit of youth arts practice.
ARTS MAP
Our arts-mapping digital tool is designed to showcase your work, and aims to both document existing practice and to inspire new ideas for future projects.
How to participate
Organisations, youth workers, and youth arts practitioners can participate by contributing information about their projects using the form on the submission page.
Additionally, you are invited to contribute one or two examples of youth art activities which will be showcased on an interactive, clickable arts map that has been designed specifically for this research project.
How to submit
Participating organisations and practitioners can submit data and examples of youth arts activities (as digital files) on the project submission page.
Research Team
Three researchers, who are based in the School of Applied Social Studies, University College Cork are working on the research project.
The research is commissioned by the National Youth Arts Programme (a strategic partnership of the National Youth Council of Ireland, The Arts Council and Dept of Children and Youth Affairs).
