Youth Worker Learning Network

The Learning Network aims to bring youth workers together from across Ireland to engage with professional development and upskilling opportunities, highlighting potential gaps in the sector at a local and national level. An important element of the network is the development and promotion of development education methodologies in the youth sector. The work we aim to do with young people informs, empowers, and supports young people taking action in their lives and community.

The Learning Network is a fantastic opportunity for a youth worker to engage in a space to learn and share from others in the field.

We are keen to get an opportunity to meet with you and explore how we can work together. The Youth 2030 Programme is quite wide-ranging and includes the Global Youth Work and Development Education, Level 8, special purpose award due to commence in Maynooth in March 2020 and opportunities to engage young people in their own communities through mini grants and actions.

We would also be very interested in hearing details of your work in this area, to see where our work focus might be aligned or where new possibilities might emerge.

We are proposing a meeting at the on the 11th March, between 11am-2pm, to include lunch. We’d be delighted if you could join us.
