Youth Work Impact Lab: Unlocking the power of youth work using transversal skills – Cork

May 11 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pm IST

The new Skills Summary training course: Youth Work Impact Lab: Unlocking the power of youth work using transversal skills comes to Cork!

This full-day training designed to give you a practical guide to recognise and leverage the value of transversal skills such as communication, adaptability, critical thinking, creativity, and more in your work with young people.

Join us to explore the concept of transversal skills and how to help young people recognise, develop and evidence those skills that matter most for life, learning, and work.

Youth work is a unique space where these essential skills are nurtured in a young person-centred way. This interactive training will inspire you to be even more intentional in nurturing those skills and will give you the tools and confidence to make these skills visible and meaningful in your projects. It will also support you to connect your practice to Skills Summary and get the most out of it.

It was developed in partnership between the National Youth Council of Ireland, spunout and Accenture, and in collaboration with young people, Youth Affairs and many youth and voluntary organisations across Ireland.
