We are excited to introduce our new Youth 2030 Development Education Programme funded by Irish Aid, bringing together a consortium of organisations including the National Youth Council of Ireland, Concern Worldwide, Maynooth University, and Trócaire to deliver Development Education in the Youth Sector.
We would like to work with you to strengthen Development Education in the Youth Sector within an SDG framework and within a youth worker education context.

This new committee plans to explore global justice issues such as inequalities, protection of human rights and power dynamic. Through reflection and analyses, the work of the committees will improve young people’s participation around the issue of global justice in Ireland.
Meetings will be chaired by a member of the development education team; where members will have the opportunity to review and advise the work of the development education team.
Members will attend monthly meetings at least 3 times over the next 6 months where they will have the chance to develop their critical thinking, offer ideas on how to further promote global justice topics and shape events contents.
Committee Members must enjoy a critical approach to global justice issues and have a positive attitude. Committee members receive no remuneration for their work but will be reimbursed for transport fee for meeting.
