NYCI is proud to host Traveller Pride in Practice: Empowering Traveller Youth, an event that centres youth work practice as a space for identity, connection, and belonging. We come together to celebrate the Traveller community, while recognising the vital role of youth work in supporting young Travellers to explore and affirm their identity, build belonging, and be genuinely seen, heard, valued, and respected. At its heart, this work is about creating space and holding stories, where young Travellers’ lived experiences are welcomed, honoured and held with care.
This event is open to all youth workers, youth leaders and volunteers who are committed to inclusive and responsive youth work.
Please note this is not a youth event but an event for those working with young people (over 18yr olds).
Spaces are limited, so sign up now!
