Staying at Home during Covid 19

FreeTRAINING DESCRIPTION
The idea that we should ‘stay at home’ during the current experience impacts on people in different ways. For starters, the experience of ‘home’ is something that is not universally shared, it means different things to different people depending on location, income, gender, class, race, age, ability, access to education. We look at the concept of ‘home’ to explore how Covid19 highlighting pre-existing inequalities in the world.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES
The Solidarity Conversations are weekly NYCI led conversations, which will take a step back, to consider a global view on the Covid 19 situation and what it means for youth work ; we will use Global Youth Work and Development Education approaches, practices and resources to unpack and understand our current world, providing a space for youth practitioners and youth workers to share, question, reflect and connect online.
