SPARK: Creating the Ripple – Youth Arts SPEAKS Workshop

February 25 @ 11:00 am - 1:30 pm GMT

Join members of the Youth Arts SPEAKS group for a workshop to explore creative, youth-led consultation!

Youth Arts SPEAKS (a youth arts advocacy group for 18 to 25 year olds) spent a year building their creative facilitation skills, designing workshops and leading creative, consultation workshops with other youth groups around the country. They engaged with other young people to find out more about what they think about youth arts, how young people access youth arts, what might be stopping their participation in youth arts and how we can help improve equality of access to youth arts. All this work resulted in The Ripple Effect resource!

Join members of the group during the SPARK Youth Arts Festival to find out more about their approach to youth-led consultation, participate in lots of creative activities that you can adapt and add to your toolkit, discover the Ripple Effect resource and share your own experiences and approaches to youth-led consultation!

You can expect lots of practical, fun activities and interesting conversations in this workshop facilitated by young people to inspire you to engage in creative, youth-led consultation. Be part of the Ripple Effect!
