The social context in which we work as youth workers is changing. In recent times, we are seeing rising levels of normalised racism, anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric and misogyny across Irish society. While young people aren’t driving these narratives, they are increasingly showing up in our communities and in our youth work spaces.  And youth workers are looking for support.

We have the opportunity to work in a focused way on this issue with youth workers across Cork city and county. But we want to hear from you directly about what’s coming up, what’s working and where are the gaps? So that we can respond directly to the youth work reality on the ground
