NYCI Garda Vetting Consortium Training on the Validation of Identity and Consent – 24th March 2026

This webinar is designed to update member and affiliate organisations on validation of identity and consent based on Garda National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Acts 2012 to 2016 and EU Directive 93 (combating sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children and child pornography).

The training held in November 2025, and February 2026 is being repeated, for the last time, in March 2026, for the benefit of those who could not attend.

Attendance at the webinar is mandatory for the Vetting Officer. A certificate of attendance will be provided and may be subject to audit by the Garda National Vetting Bureau.

Vetting Administrators are welcome to attend.

The aim of the training is to ensure participants understand the changes to the vetting process.
