LAUNCH OF NYCI’S WELLBEING HUB – 9TH MARCH

If you are a youth worker or work with young people, our wellbeing hub has been developed with your needs in mind
Since March 2020, when Ireland began to experience the effects of Covid 19, the NYCI National Youth Health Programme (NYHP) has been working to ensure the wellbeing of youth workers through evidence based, tailored supports.
Partnering with experts in wellbeing, mindfulness and meditation, we developed our ‘Building Blocks for Wellbeing’ initiative.
Now we’ve collected these invaluable tools to you help maintain and support your wellbeing together in our new Wellbeing Hub for you to access when and as you need!
During the launch of our Wellbeing Hub, Nollaig O Sullivan, an Accredited Performance Psychologist, will also facilitate a seminar on Resilience and Positive Wellbeing.

In our lives we can be faced with many challenges and setbacks and how we cope with these setbacks can have a positive or negative impact on our mental wellbeing. Nollaig wants to support you in identifying what coping strategies do you use when faced with stress, change, or adversity? This seminar will provide you with several tools and techniques that you can start incorporating today to increase positive wellbeing and resilience. Having resilience in times of struggles, stress or setbacks is key to supporting ourselves, having a mental reservoir of strength that we can pull on in times of need is essential for our wellbeing. This seminar focuses on how we can ensure that we have the coping strategies in place not only to build resilience but also to ensure we keep building on our positive mental wellbeing.
