Dec 8 – Racial Justice in Youth Work

December 8, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 4:30 pm GMT

Racial Justice goes beyond anti-racism practice to proactively create environments for minority ethnic young people that ensures equal access and participation, where we celebrate diversity,  and where we advocate for árights and equitable outcomes for the young people.

A racial justice approach encourages self-reflection on wider societal structures. This training will support practitioners to address racial injustice in wider society and as youth workers to reflect on our role in challenging racism in our youth settings.

This new one day training is being offered on 3 separate dates in Dublin city – 12th October, 15th November and 8th December. Rather than offering it on a first come first served basis we are inviting expressions of interest so we can also gauge demand and plan a further roll out of the training into 2023.
