National Youth Consultation on Human Rights

Join together with young people from across Ireland, for a consultation led by Ireland’s United Nations Youth Delegates, Aisling Maloney and Carla Fusciardi Wallace. The outcomes from this Youth Consultation will feed into the UNYDs work in the following United Nations arenas: The Commission on the Status of Women, the ECOSOC Youth Forum, and the Human Rights Council. It will also inform a new resource being created by NYCI about Human Rights later in 2026. 

In the Consultation, you will explore the following Sustainable Development Goals from personal, local, national, and global perspective: 

– Gender Equality
– Reducing Inequalities
– No Poverty
– Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions

Extra Information

  • Lunch will be provided (dietary requirements must be communicated in advance).  
  • Note that NYCI can reimburse all national public transport costs as long as we are provided with a ticket/receipt that shows the ticket cost (this excludes private car journeys, taxis, rental cars, ferries, and flights). We are unable to reimburse international travel.
