Youth Voice: Advancing the Youth Development Agenda

November 21, 2024 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm GMT

Youth voice is universally important, and supporting youth voice through collective action, and building solidarity is key in this regard.

Join us online to celebrate and amplify youth leadership while redefining perspectives in Ireland and the Global North on activism led by and for the youth in the Global South. For this event, we are joined by youth contributors from across the Global South to share their experiences and insights, particularly on the themes of a sustainable future for us all. We will share ideas on mobilising the voices of young people and advocating for meaningful engagement at government level and advancing the youth development agenda.

This event highlights pioneering, youth-driven initiatives in policy-making, community action, and decolonising youth work. Attendees will gain insights into impactful campaigns on climate justice, educational equity, and economic empowerment driven by young activists worldwide. Featuring Save the Children Zambia, grassroots organisations, and youth consultants, the event promises to be interactive and engaging.
