In the NYCI Pre-Budget 2020 submission, we called on Government to give young people and the youth sector a fair share in Budget 2020. In relation to investment in youth services, while the additional €2m in funding is welcome, it falls well short of what is required to meet the needs of young people and to address the chronic under investment of the sector and to implement our budgetary recommendations.
