Never more than in the last year has the importance of science and technology in our lives been more apparent.
The Skills Summary project provides a framework to better recognise the value and learning young people gain by participating in youth work and volunteering opportunities so that they can better communicate the acquisition of these essential skills to future employers. The primary audiences for this project are young people who are involved in the youth/non-formal education sector in Ireland.
The National Youth Council of Ireland (NYCI) is seeking an experienced Administrative and Financial Assistant with an interest in supporting the overall running of NYCI programmes and activities support of the youth work sector. The post holder will need excellent administrative skills, strong organisational and planning management as well as an ability to work independently with good attention to detail.

As Digital Communications Specialist you will be central to the delivery and execution of NYCI’s new digital strategy, supporting the development, distribution and measurement of strategic, effective digital promotions and communications to support our work.
NYCI is seeking an experienced administrator with an interest in supporting garda vetting in the youth work sector. The post holder will need excellent skills in relationship building and needs to be discrete and confidential as handling sensitive information and have good attention to detail.
NYCI is now initiating a new two-year project (2021- 2023) that will support three Youthreach Centres to design and deliver cutting-edge STEAM education and public engagement initiatives. Learning will be used to develop a range of educational management, teaching and extra-curricular resources that will be shared with the wider Youthreach sector.
