YOUTH ARTS HUBS
Youth Arts Hubs aim to strengthen local youth arts provision in youth work and non-formal education settings by advancing skills development, practice exchange and networking for local youth workers, artists and youth arts practitioners. Youth Arts Hubs are partnership initiatives that strive to create an environment where everyone involved in youth arts can share experiences, learn together and provide peer support.
An annual programme of roughly 3 events is designed in each Youth Arts Hub in response to a consultation with participants and partners. Events can range from: training events focused on skill development in artforms like visual arts, drama, circus, photography, digital music, filmmaking etc. and youth arts facilitation; practice development in areas like inclusion, youth arts funding, evaluation or project management; and practice exchange sessions centred on sharing local case studies and providing networking opportunities.
