NYCI’s development education programme is working on a new project on taking action for global justice in youth work, in the lead-up to and during the Irish Presidency of the EU in 2013.
A one-day training on Wednesday 14 November (during One World Week) took place to start the project in Dublin city centre.he training is part of an NYCI project (with thanks to funding from Concern) called ‘Taking the Lead! Action for global justice through youth work’. Through the project, we hope to bridge the 2012 One World Week central action ‘Steps Towards a Fairer World’ (and the broader context of the ‘World We Want’/post-Millennium Development Goals) with the Irish Presidency of the EU as of January 2013.
