“Completing the specialist Cert and undergoing the Health Quality Mark process give our staff and the organisation the expertise and focus to achieve the goals set down in our strategic approach.”
In 2015, No Name Club received their first Bronze Health Quality Mark and quickly progressed 12 months later to achieving their Silver award. Their successful and continuous story through the Health Quality Mark process and their work with NYCI is commendable and when asked if they could provide any advice for other clubs wanting to start out or continue with their journey with the Health Quality Mark, Grainne said;
“It is a great process; once you start it really is achievable once the whole organisation is committed.
Just get started. Look at the criteria’s and select the ones that are most appropriate to when you start so you can feel immediate improvement. This really drove us on and helped us see how achievable it was once we started to examine each piece.”
