NYCI’s National Youth Health Programme are delighted to launch their new support pack Sense and Sexuality 2.0.
This aim of the support pack is to provide youth organisations with a comprehensive framework within which to address the issue of sexuality and sexual health with young people in a holistic manner.
A youth organisation is an ideal setting which provides a safe and supportive environment wherein young people can explore their sexuality needs (and general health needs) in an atmosphere of trust and openness.
However, over the last number of years, Youth Work has experienced a number of developments that has influenced the evolution of Youth Work with a move towards more formalised structures, practice and policy. With this in mind, NYCI’s National Youth Health Programme are delighted to launch their new support pack Sense and Sexuality 2.0
This support pack takes into consideration these developments and aims to provide support to youth organisations to address the sexuality and sexual health needs of young people.
We encourage everyone to download the Sense and Sexuality 2.0 pack and if your organisation is interested, our health programme can come facilitate a training to support the development of a ‘Sexual Health Policy’.
