One World Week 2020 is just around the corner – and our annual youth summit has been transformed into a week-long festival of activities, inspiration and youth activism, all through the lens of this year’s theme: power. Take a sneak peak at what we have in store for you!
This year’s Youth 2030 One World Week festival takes place from November 23rd to 29th and the theme is power.
With 10 events spread over seven days, covering everything from Art-ivism and spoken word, to self-care strategies and racial justice, to a session on unpacking the hidden power of your breakfast (!) this festival is sure to have something you’ll enjoy.
You’ll join young people and youth workers online for fun interactive activities, exciting performances, important discussion on the lives of young people, the SDGs, and taking action!
NYCI and our Youth 2030 partners Concern Worldwide, Maynooth University and Trócaire are really excited that for the first time this year, One World Week is a collaboration with NYCI member organisations Irish Girl Guides, Youth Work Ireland Galway and the Migrant Rights Centre Ireland as well as Kelvin Akpaloo and the Climate Youth Artivists.
As ever, all this magic and collaboration couldn’t happen without the support of Irish Aid.
