Join us in May 2024 to explore climate justice through youth arts practice!
The Summer School will support you to use youth arts as a methodology to engage young people in a creative and meaningful way with climate justice. The arts are a tool to support young people to voice their concerns and solutions and aid transformative change!
Using collaborative process, we’ll build our skills in youth arts; explore climate action based on the principles of justice and equity; and work to empower young people to influence and effect local climate justice change through youth arts projects and advocacy.
The NYCI Summer School is a partnership project between NYCI’s Youth Arts & Global Youth Work Programmes. It is an immersive, residential course which will take place from May 24 – 26 at Maynooth University Campus, Kildare.
Course fees will range from €100 for NYCI members to €120 for non-members and a number of bursaries will be available. Accommodation, breakfasts and lunches are provided for all participants.
