From 11:00 to 12:00 CET on 7 April 2020.
Due to the limitations imposed by the present COVID-19 outbreak, Youth Organisations in Europe and globally are exploring tools and methods that can guarantee continuous engagement of young people as well as their active participation. One approach that can help deliver online activities is Virtual Exchange, a distinctive pedagogy to enable deep, interactive intercultural learning through people to people, facilitated educational programmes.
Addressed to National Agencies, Youth Workers, Vocational Training Centres, and Non-formal learning institutions, this masterclass will explore how young people can engage in Virtual Exchange activities, and how organisations working with young people can integrate virtual exchanges into their programmes. It will also present the practical opportunities offered by the European Union’s Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange initiative to engage youth workers and young people in meaningful, safe and rewarding online collaboration activities.
