€37,062 (point 3 on salary scale) – 1-year initial fixed term contract to December 2021 subject to ongoing funding. Probationary Period: 6 months

The Development Officer: Training and Membership Engagement will work as part of Youth 2030, NYCI’s Development Education Programme, and collaborate across NYCI’s membership and the youth work sector, to deepen Development Education engagement within non-formal youth work education and the wider youth sector in Ireland.
This is a varied role requiring good organisation and multi-tasking skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, policy and training experience. This is a specified purpose contract, and the successful applicant will report to the Development Education Manager. The role will be based remotely initially but potentially will require face-to-face work in Ireland and potentially abroad in the latter part of 2021 (dependant on Covid-19).
Any concerns must be reported to NYCI’s Designated Safeguarding Officer.
