Wednesday, April 9th, officially marked the conclusion of the Specialist Certificate in Youth Mental Health Promotion for the 2024/25 academic year, which was delivered by the National Youth Health Programme at the National Youth Council of Ireland, in collaboration with the University of Galway. There was great excitement and relief from participants who had just completed their final group work presentation assignment.
The specialist Certificate in Youth Mental Health Promotion ran from September 2024 to April 2025, covering a variety of topics such as: foundations of health and mental health promotion, concepts and determinants of youth mental health, principles of mental health promotion, and project development in youth mental health.
