Are you on the map? Development Education and SDG work nationwide
Repro Free: Dublin Wednesday 21st November 2018. Ireland must embrace the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and young activists have a vital role in making this happen. Thats according to young people attending the Youth Summit on Activism and the Sustainable Development Goals in Dublin today (21.11.18). Almost 200 young people from around Ireland met to share their ideas and find out what youth activists from Cork to Kenya have been involved in.
Organised by Concern Worldwide and the National Youth Council of Ireland (NYCI), with the supported of Irish Aid, as part of celebrations for One World Week and World Children's Day, to raise awareness about the Sustainable Development Goals. NYCI have created an interactive online map that highlights current Development Education and SDG focused youth work across Ireland. See the map and more information about it.
We are inviting organisations and educational institutions to submit their projects and courses to us, so that we can showcase you and your work on this map. This will make it easier for individuals in your area to be able to discover and join your programmes. This map will also create avenues for collaborations.
