Senior Project Officer National Youth Health Programme

Wishes to recruit a Senior Project Officer, National Youth Health Programme

Salary: Programme Manager Scale EUR 49,007 – EUR 62,210

The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day work of the National Youth health Programme, the staff of the programme, and the work of any consultants engaged.

The role will focus on achieving the Youth Health aims and objectives within NYCI’s Strategic Plan.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a relevant third level qualification and at least 3 years experience working in Health Promotion, Health Education, Youth Work or Community Development;
  • Have a working knowledge of the Out-of-School Sector (particularly the Youth Work Sector nationally), and of Health Promotion policy and issues:
  • Have excellent interpersonal, written communication, research and presentation skills;
  • Have proven skills and experience in the areas of programme development, training and facilitation with adult groups;
  • Have the ability to work on one’s own initiative as well as part of a Team.

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week). Flexible working hours apply.
