Youth work comes to TV

‘Ireland’s Top Teens’ - a two-part TV3 special on the permanent tsb Foróige Youth Citizenship Awards will be broadcast  at 6.15pm on Sunday 7th November and Sunday 14th November.

Both programmes are wonderful promotion for youth work and a real celebration of young people at their very best.  This is the good news story we’ve been looking for – so we are hopeful that all of our colleagues in the youth work sector will tune in to prove that positive media coverage of young people is appealing and can draw an audience!

The programme follows ten groups of young people (some Foróige and some not) on their citizenship journey, with the second show focusing on the national event in the Helix, where one lucky group will be crowned ‘Ireland’s Top Teens’.
