The Girls' Friendly Society aims to unite, for the glory of God in one fellowship of Prayer and service, all girls and women throughout the world, to promote friendship and uphold purity in thought, work and deed.
Activities include handcrafts, Bible Study, games and competitions at local, regional and national levels. Development Education and Gaisce are an integral part of the syllabus. As an all-Ireland organisation, GFS promotes co-operation and friendship in 32 counties.There are 3 flats in the Girls Friendly Society House,, which can accommodate 13 girls - members and non-members - for a period of one year, preferably for girls coming to Dublin for the first time.
