Annual Report 2008
This annual report sets out NYCI’s achievements over the past year, and gives a flavour of the full range of our work as the membership led umbrella organisation that represents and supports voluntary youth organisations and acts on issues that impact on young people.
2008 is the first year of our new five year Strategic Plan 2008-2012. Last year’s comprehensive strategic planning process has delivered a plan which is both challenging and realistic. Our key stakeholders both internally and externally have contributed their views, and have provided a clear direction for the organisation over the next five years. The consultations confirmed that NYCI is doing the right things and there is no need for a change in direction; however we needed to ensure that we are doing things in the right way and ensure that we are developing much better synergies across the organisation.
