Young arts advocates to address major conference in Queen’s University Belfast

Last year a range of young people participated in NYCI Youth Arts Programme’s Youth Arts Advocacy Project and worked with a range of experts on PR, advocacy, project management, public representation and youth participation to design and carry out a project which celebrated the importance of young people participating in the arts in their own locality.  On Friday, 15th September 2017, some of these young people, from Griese Youth Theatre in Kildare, will participate in a major conference in Queen’s University Belfast on young people’s perspectives on culture, identity and cultural participation and will share their experiences of this project.
